PS*-4* sockets for use with PS*-7* plugs in hazardous locations to create a connection point between two devices. Certified in Ex de and Ex tb for Zone 1/21 and Zone 2/22 applications. Made out of GRP. Each socket contains a disconnect switch.

The PS series wall sockets are available from 16 to 125 Amps and from 110 to 500 Volts with AC-3 and DC-1 switching capacity. Self-cleaning lamellar contacts provide an excellent connection as well as a speedy insertion and removal of the associated plug. The large termination area makes commissioning and maintenance fast and efficient. A rating of IP66 will ensure that the internals are protected from water and dust with or without the socket being installed.
